Ingredients:
- Puff pastry (1 sheet)
- Ketchup (about 4 tablespoons)
- Grated cheese (about 150g)
- Topping- as you like. We love green Olives (sliced, about 50g) or pepperoni
Preparation:
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan/gas 6).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
- Evenly spread the ketchup over the puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the grated cheese evenly over the ketchup-covered pastry.
- Distribute the topping evenly over the cheese.
- Starting from one edge, carefully roll the puff pastry sheet into a tight log.
- Using a sharp knife, slice the rolled pastry into swirls about 1-2 cm thick.
- Lay the swirls flat on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, ensuring they are spaced apart to allow for expansion during baking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the swirls are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Allow the pizza swirls to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm or at room temperature.
