Quickest dinner pizza ever – Pizza Swirls

Ingredients:

  • Puff pastry (1 sheet)
  • Ketchup (about 4 tablespoons)
  • Grated cheese (about 150g)
  • Topping- as you like. We love green Olives (sliced, about 50g) or pepperoni

Preparation:

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan/gas 6).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Evenly spread the ketchup over the puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle the grated cheese evenly over the ketchup-covered pastry.
  5. Distribute the topping evenly over the cheese.
  6. Starting from one edge, carefully roll the puff pastry sheet into a tight log.
  7. Using a sharp knife, slice the rolled pastry into swirls about 1-2 cm thick.
  8. Lay the swirls flat on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, ensuring they are spaced apart to allow for expansion during baking.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the swirls are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Allow the pizza swirls to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm or at room temperature.
