Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 220 grams of butter at room temperature
  • 150 grams of brown sugar
  • 75 grams of white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 280 grams of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 200-300 grams of chopped dark chocolate or chocolate chips, plus a bit more for decoration

Preparation:

  1. Cream the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar together in a mixer until well combined.
  2. Add the eggs and mix again.
  3. Add the flour, salt, and baking soda, and mix until just combined. Stir in the chocolate pieces.
  4. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 160°C.
  6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop out portions of the chilled dough and place them on the sheet, leaving some space between each.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.
  8. Serve and enjoy.
