Ingredients:
- 220 grams of butter at room temperature
- 150 grams of brown sugar
- 75 grams of white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 280 grams of flour
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 200-300 grams of chopped dark chocolate or chocolate chips, plus a bit more for decoration
Preparation:
- Cream the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar together in a mixer until well combined.
- Add the eggs and mix again.
- Add the flour, salt, and baking soda, and mix until just combined. Stir in the chocolate pieces.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 160°C.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop out portions of the chilled dough and place them on the sheet, leaving some space between each.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.
- Serve and enjoy.
