Amazing Blondie

Ingredients for a 20×30 cm pan:

  • 225 grams of butter
  • 150 grams of brown sugar
  • 75 grams of white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 280 grams of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 300 grams of chopped dark chocolate or chocolate chips, plus a bit more for decoration

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C
  2. Cream the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar together in a mixer until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs and mix again.
  4. Add the flour and salt and mix until just combined. Stir in the chocolate pieces.
  5. Line a 20×30 cm rectangular pan with parchment paper, pour in the batter, and smooth it out. Sprinkle the reserved chocolate on top.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool completely (about 4 hours).
  7. Cut into squares and serve.
